Thursday

Do minute math paper. Time one side for a minute, then do other side in a minute! How many basic facts have you mastered in 2 minutes?

Bring in Santa letters this week.
Bring in large brown grocery bag this week for a stocking activity.
Mission money for Wednesday.
Santa Secret shopping is Friday. Accessorize with read and green over your gym uniform! Ribbons, bell necklaces, reindeer ear headbands, red or green socks, etc!
Chapter 7 test in Religion Wednesday!
Spelling test Friday! Words are: face, made, age, safe, make, take, cage, cake, late, name, could, old.
Friday is Miss Santangelo's last day! We wish her luck with her next semester assignment to a new school!
Make sure you study lists of words that are sent home and review them on a regular basis.

Reread chapter 7 in Religion.

Thanksgiving Week!

No homework this week! My Thanksgiving present to you for all your hard work helping your kids each night! 

I am sending home Santa letters to work on this week to be due next week. These letter are asking Santa questions about the North Pole, what do you feed your reindeer,  what's the weather like, etc. Not asking for things but more informational type questions. Our letters are mailed to the North Pole and we might be lucky enough to get responses back answering their specific questions!

Continue to bring coins on Wednesday for Mission collection.

Please send in large brown grocery bags for a stocking activity for our hallway!!! 

Surprise notes for Miss Santangelo due Wednesday. Her last day is December 4th and we are planning a little surprise party at the end of the day around 2 ish for her. Our homeroom moms are helping us with some treats and I have 2 gifts for her from the class!

Homework Week of 11/9 to 11/13

Spelling test Friday. Words are crust, bump, jump, must, just, dust, trust, dusk, hunt, lump, many, into. Bring in coins every Wednesday for mission collection!
Please bring a place mat or dishtowel for lunch boxes so kids don't have to wait for paper towels to be passed out. We'll save paper too!
Check your child's pencil cases for glue sticks. They are using them up like crazy.
Check out green folders every night and clean them out.
Class work will be sent home for math so you can see what we are doing in class! Save papers at home to review for the  future math test!
